Dot writes: so here I am, back in Dublin, posting at 6am. I think that’s quite creditable really for our first day of adaptation to a thirteen hour time difference. By gum, it’s a long way from Auckland to Dublin (via Melbourne, Hong Kong and Heathrow). Ken and I are enjoying the Irish chill, but it does mean we can’t take Hugh for a midnight walk in the park as we did on our first night in Auckland.
Today’s tasks: lots and lots of unpacking. The start of our new drive to stop Hugh fiddling with the oven knobs, because we are sure he is old enough to understand now. Teaching preparation for me. Lunch with Helen (thanks, Helen). And I might manage to post some photos.
