Hugh and the house

Dot writes: BT have restored our internet connection! So here are some pictures of Hugh from the last month (and one rather older), plus a shot of our new little house.

For comparison, Hugh during our previous move in June 2008. He's sitting pretty much exactly on the spot where he was born.

Our new house. It's the one on the end of the row at the right. The green area at the front is communal.

  1. Looks really nice!
Amelia has mystery bruises on her legs too – picked up no doubt when she falls/trips/spins about when rambling around and because she doesn’t cry we have no idea she has them until bath time.

@Alice: I have completely lost track of the bruises on Hugh’s legs; perhaps this shows what a heartless mother I am or just what a little ragamuffin Hugh is. The bruise in the picture is a non-mystery bruise on his forehead, produced when he fell against an iron bar on the climbing equipment at the playground (the playground near your mum’s house, in fact). It came up absolutely enormous like half an egg stuck to his forehead, but oddly is only visible in the photo as a red patch above his left eye.

@Helen: I’m somewhat impressed you could tell it was a boat. What do you think the purple knob on the prow is? A very small steering wheel?
