    Nice! My minimal familiarity with this theory didn’t entail any of the fascinating points about subcutaneous fat in marine mammals and humans.
    Does she (or anyone else) have an argument that involves the presence of melanin in “naked apes”?

    I notice she doesn’t make any mention here of the feminist aspect of the theory as presented in her book ‘The Descent of Woman’.
