A tell-all, no-holds-barred exposé of the gritty details and trade secrets might be ‘career-limiting,’ as they say, and a bowdlerised version probably would not be of interest to anyone. This shouldn’t be taken to imply that I am not enjoying the course; I am. I just don’t think it would be wise to spill all the beans.

    On the other hand, you could use the blog to muse and ask questions about yeasts, enzymes and other mysterious entities involved in production. I was fascinated by your explanation of different yeast strains and the questions for which you wanted answers.

    Well this is sad. I looked forward to the gritty details you divulged about your studies. Then again, I personally had to ask my former university to withhold publication of my satirical commentary on “course rubrics” out of fear that it might reflect a negative attitude toward students and administrators, which it did, but rightly so.
