Dot writes: shortly after six this evening I looked out of our upstairs window and saw this:

A good hour of the heaviest rain I can remember and, well, this is what you get.

Anyway, then I went for a walk round the block to see what else I could see:

    Wow! that is impressive.It’s impressive to see the flood and its also impressive to see how quickly the Artane stormwater system disposed of the floodwaters. Mind you, I can imagine watery mayhem wherever it is that the stormwater drains drain into; all that silt and road-surface chemicals.
